Welcome to Ecom Ace. Ecom Ace ("us", "we", or "our") is operated by Daksh Manocha. This Privacy Policy governs your use of our website and services, and explains how we collect, safeguard, and disclose information that results from your use of our Service. We use your data to provide and improve our Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Our Terms and Conditions govern all use of the Service and, together with this Privacy Policy, constitute your agreement with us.

2. Definitions

• SERVICE means the Ecom Ace website and mentorship programs operated by Daksh Manocha.
• PERSONAL DATA means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data.
• USAGE DATA is data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
• COOKIES are small files stored on your device.
• DATA CONTROLLER means the person who determines the purposes for which personal data are processed. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are the Data Controller of your data.
• DATA PROCESSORS (OR SERVICE PROVIDERS) means any person who processes data on behalf of the Data Controller.
• DATA SUBJECT is any living individual who is the subject of Personal Data.
• THE USER is the individual using our Service, corresponding to the Data Subject.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Personal Data: full name, email address, WhatsApp/phone number, and any other details you provide during enrollment or through our website.
• Payment Data: transaction amounts, dates, and payment references. We do not store card numbers or banking credentials — these are handled by third-party payment processors.
• Program Data: onboarding form responses, progress updates, results, case study material, and content shared during the mentorship.
• Communication Records: WhatsApp, Telegram, email, and Discord messages exchanged with Ecom Ace team members in the course of the program.
• Usage Data: IP address, browser type, browser version, pages visited, time and date of visit, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data collected automatically.
• Location Data: if you grant permission, we may collect approximate location data via your device settings. You can disable this at any time.
• Cookies and Tracking Data: we use cookies and similar tracking technologies. Types used include: Session Cookies (to operate the Service), Preference Cookies (to remember your settings), Security Cookies (for security purposes), and Analytics Cookies (to understand how the Service is used).

4. Use of Data

We use collected data to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Onboard clients, track progress, schedule sessions, and deliver mentorship support
• Issue agreements, process payments, and maintain transaction records
• Send program updates, onboarding materials, and community access details via WhatsApp, email, or Discord
• Notify you of changes to the Service or your agreement
• Gather analytics to improve our curriculum and support processes
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues
• Use your results or testimonials as social proof in our marketing, unless you opt out in writing within 14 days of your final session or, for Skool clients, within 14 days of your enrollment date
• Fulfill any legal or regulatory obligations under Indian law

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.

5. Retention of Data

We retain client records for a minimum of 3 years after program completion for accounting and legal compliance. Communication records may be retained for the same period. Usage/analytics data is retained for up to 12 months, or longer if legally required.

6. Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be stored and processed in India. If you are located outside India and choose to use our Service, your data will be transferred to and processed in India. Your use of the Service represents your agreement to this transfer. We take all reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

7. Disclosure of Data

We may disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:

• To Service Providers: third-party companies we use to facilitate the Service (e.g., payment processors, Skool, Supabase, Discord), who are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
• For Law Enforcement: if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
• Business Transaction: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
• With Your Consent: for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

8. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use commercially reasonable means to protect your Personal Data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, to the extent required by applicable law.

9. Do Not Track

We honor Do Not Track signals. When a Do Not Track browser mechanism is in place, we do not track users across third-party websites for advertising purposes.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is available to minors only with the documented consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from minors without such consent. 11. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR — EU/EEA Users)

13. Your Rights Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA)

Ecom Ace operates as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You, as our client, are a Data Principal under this Act. In accordance with the DPDPA, you have the following rights:

• Right to Access: you may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the ways in which it has been processed.
• Right to Correction and Erasure: you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data, or erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Right to Grievance Redressal: you have the right to have your grievances addressed in a timely and effective manner. Contact our Grievance Officer at support@ecomace.in. We will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days.
• Right to Nominate: you have the right to nominate another individual who shall exercise your rights under the DPDPA in the event of your death or incapacity.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: to withdraw consent for any or all data processing, email support@ecomace.in with the subject line "Data Consent Withdrawal — [Your Full Name]". We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and action it within 15 days. Note that withdrawal of consent for core program delivery data may affect your ability to continue in the program.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For enrolled clients, material changes will be communicated via email prior to the change becoming effective. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
